STORIS’ Manager of Customer Success, Greg Miller Recognized in HFB’s Forty Under 40

July 18th, 2024 by the STORIS Marketing Team

Mt. Arlington, NJ – When STORIS embarked on a pivotal initiative to modernize training for its retail technology solutions, they turned to a team member with well-rounded STORIS expertise and exceptional client relationships to lead the project. Greg Miller took to the task wholeheartedly, reimagining the content development and delivery of STORIS training. He led a team through the successful creation and launch of STORIS Academy in February of 2023.

For this and his many contributions to the industry, STORIS proudly celebrates Greg Millers’ induction into Home Furnishing Business’ Forty Under 40 Class of 2024.

Greg reimagined training and learning at STORIS to build STORIS Academy. Historically, all training was conducted live, but retailers had a growing interest in on-demand training to maximize flexibility. As a web-based learning management system, STORIS Academy allows learners to train at their own pace, on their own time, with guided learning paths. In the first year, over 220 courses were created with 21,500 learners completing lessons within the first year.

Greg’s career journey at STORIS put him in the unique position to lead this initiative. As an adaptable team member, he has taken on many unique roles since joining STORIS in 2012. In his first role as a technical support team member, he solved client cases across various functional areas, which provided him with a well-rounded education on the STORIS solution.

From there, Greg transitioned to managing enterprise STORIS ERP implementations. He was promoted to his first leadership role in 2021. Greg devised the implementation playbook and led implementations for STORIS’ web-based NextGen platform.

Today, Greg is taking on a new leadership role and redefining another area of the organization. As Manager of Customer Success, he and his team collaborate with Top 100 home furnishings retailers on strategic initiatives. This includes conducting Operational Reviews, to optimize processes that increase the profitability of STORIS partners. They do this by imparting change management principles that position end users to embrace impactful technology solutions. He and his team have increased consulting engagements by 33% in just six months.

Jake Egan, Senior Manager of Consulting Services, wrote in his nomination, “Greg has established himself as a strong leader through hard work, focus, and integrity. His positivity and credibility make him a valuable leader who has successfully guided many retailers in leveraging best practices to take their operations to the next level.”

Greg actively supports various charity organizations, such as the Movember Foundation and TEARS Foundation. As a dog lover, he also supports multiple groups that benefit animals within his community.

Doug Culmone, STORIS President & COO, commented, “Greg embodies STORIS’s vision statement, which is “to be obsessed with making home furnishings retailers successful.” Over his 12 years with STORIS, Greg has grown into a seasoned team leader who is integral to STORIS’s highest-priority goals. We are excited to support him in developing the Customer Success team and the transformative efforts he undertakes with our clients.”
